Welcome to Awaara Stay. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

  • Identification: All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Passport) at the time of check-in. PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID.

  • Guest Conduct: We maintain a social and friendly environment. Any guest found engaging in illegal activities, harassment, or behavior that disturbs the peace of other guests will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

  • Property Damage: Any damage to villa property, hostel bunks, or resort facilities caused by a guest will be charged directly to the guest at the time of check-out.

  • Health & Safety: While we take every precaution, guests are responsible for their personal belongings. For villa stays with swimming pools, guests use the pool at their own risk; children must be supervised at all times.

  • Right of Admission: Awaara Stay reserves the right of admission to ensure the safety and comfort of our community.

1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility

By accessing the Awaara Stay website and completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our services are intended for guests aged 18 and above; any minor staying at our properties must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. It is a mandatory requirement of the local administration and Awaara Stay that every guest provides a valid, government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Passport, or Driving License) upon arrival. Please note that PAN cards are not recognized as a valid proof of identity for check-in purposes.

2. Booking, Payments, and Financial Obligations

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the specified deposit or full payment as per the property type. For our private villas (Shilp, Harry’s, and Aruba), a security deposit may be collected at check-in to cover any incidental charges or damages; this is fully refundable at check-out provided no damages have occurred. All prices quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time, but such changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and paid for.

3. Guest Conduct and Communal Living Standards

Awaara Stay prides itself on being a community-centric brand. Whether you are staying in a shared dormitory at our Backpackers Hostel or a private resort, we expect all guests to maintain a high standard of conduct. We enforce a “Quiet Hours” policy between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure the comfort of all residents and neighbors. The possession or consumption of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without a refund and notification to local authorities. We reserve the right of admission and the right to ask any guest to leave if their behavior is deemed aggressive, disrespectful, or harmful to our staff or other travelers.

4. Liability, Property Care, and Safety

While we take every measure to ensure a safe environment, Awaara Stay is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings during your stay. We strongly encourage the use of provided lockers and cupboards. Furthermore, guests are responsible for the proper care of the property and its amenities. In the event of damage to the villa’s structure, furniture, or electronic equipment due to negligence or intent, the guest will be billed for the full cost of repair or replacement. For properties featuring swimming pools or garden areas, guests utilize these facilities at their own risk, and Awaara Stay assumes no liability for accidents resulting from improper use or lack of supervision.

5. Amendments, Jurisdiction, and Force Majeure

Awaara Stay reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alibag or Mumbai. We shall not be held liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to “Force Majeure” events, which include but are not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, strikes, or electrical failures beyond our reasonable control.
